The Admin Source's transcription services aren't for everyone. We specialize in creating product-ready, edited for readability transcripts. This means you'll receive an easy-to-read, grammatically correct translation of your spoken words into a format that's ready to pass along to your clients or prospects as-is. Transcription Pricing

Transcription cost is based on turnaround times:

Rush Service (1 to 2 business days): $2.45 per minute ($147 per audio hour)
Standard Service (3 to 5 business days): $1.95 per minute ($117 per audio hour)
Budget Service (6 to 10 business days): $1.62 per minute ($97 per audio hour)

All standard audio projects are billed by the actual audio minute with a 30-minute minimum. Please note that poor-quality audio or files with more than two primary speakers will incur surcharges.

Formats

We can transcribe from all audio and video formats. There is a flat $20.00 conversion fee for video formats and nondownloadble audio. Due to their poor audio quality and fragile nature, we do not accept cassettes for transcription.

Transcripts delivered in Word format using our standard template (1.5" margins, 12 pt. Arial font, with hanging indent) unless otherwise specified. What does 'Edited for Readability' mean?

All transcripts are edited to AP (Associated Press) style guidelines
Removal of all nonsense sounds (uhm), repetitve idioms (you know),
and anything totally unrelated to the content (issues with phone lines, etc.)
Paragraphs of six lines maximum
More or less editing as requested
The end result? An easy to read, product-ready transcript.
